Khao Khanab Nam
The twin limestone hills on the Krabi River and the symbol of the town. If you stay in town, see them from the riverside before you set off; longtail boat trips around them are booked separately at a town pier.
Klong Jilad Pier
Krabi's passenger ferry pier near town, with boats from Koh Phi Phi and other islands depending on the season. Heading on to Phuket after the boat? Send the ferry company and sailing time when booking so the pickup point, fare and timing can be confirmed; ferry fares are not included.
Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple)
A hilltop temple near Krabi Town with more than a thousand steps up to a summit viewpoint. To climb before the drive, start early, allow several hours and dress modestly; waiting time is quoted for you to confirm first.
Than Bok Khorani National Park
Clear streams and pools under the trees in Ao Luek, a short turn off Highway 4 early in the drive. Tell us when booking if you want to stop, and check the park fee and opening hours before you go.
Wat Suwan Khuha
A cave temple in Takua Thung, Phang Nga, with a reclining Buddha inside a limestone cave, not far from Highway 4 after Phang Nga Town—a good leg-stretch before Phuket. Check opening hours and dress respectfully.
Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island
The limestone bay of Phang Nga near the Krabi–Phuket road. The islands can only be seen by boat from a local pier, so plan it as a separate trip; boat and national park fees are not included.
