Patong, Kata and Karon beaches
The three main west-coast beaches. Patong is the liveliest with full dining and nightlife, while Kata and Karon are quieter and better for families. The connecting roads wind steeply over headlands.
Phuket Old Town, Thalang Road
A district of colourful Sino-Portuguese shophouses with cafés, local restaurants and souvenirs, worth two to three hours on foot. Parking is limited, so the driver drops and waits elsewhere.
Promthep Cape
Phuket's most famous sunset viewpoint at the island's southern tip. Arrive around 45 minutes before sunset, as the car park fills very quickly.
Rassada and Ao Po piers
The main terminals for boats to Phi Phi, Coral Island and Phang Nga Bay. We drop at the pier and arrange your return; arrive at least 45 minutes before departure.
Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha
Wat Chalong is Phuket's most important temple, while the white marble Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hill offers sweeping island views up a winding mountain road.
Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island
About ninety minutes off the island, a bay of limestone karsts rising from the sea. Boat tours depart from piers in Phang Nga or Phuket — a full-day outing.

How long does Bangkok to Phuket take by van?
About twelve to fourteen hours for the 850 km including breaks. That exceeds what a single driver can safely cover in one stretch, so we only accept this route as a two-day trip with an overnight stop.
Is a van charter better value than flying?
Honestly, usually not. The flight takes about an hour and twenty minutes and budget fares are typically far cheaper, so we recommend flying for an ordinary holiday. A van suits relocations, cargo airlines will not carry, groups uneasy about flying, or when you want transport throughout your stay.
What is included in ฿17,500?
Fuel, expressway and motorway tolls, the driver and bottled water. It is a flat one-way whole-vehicle price. Overnight accommodation en route, meals, island boats and ฿500 per night driver accommodation are separate.
Can you move household goods to Phuket?
Yes — it is the main reason people charter this route. Tell us the volume and nature of the load at booking, as it may mean fewer passengers or a second van. We assess and advise honestly before confirming, and we do not carry illegal or hazardous goods of any kind.
