Thao Suranari Monument
The much-revered monument at the heart of Khorat, where many people stop to pay respects before a journey. Shops nearby sell well-known Khorat souvenirs such as mee Khorat noodles and Chinese sausage.
Save One and Suranaree night markets
Large markets in Khorat city with plenty of Isan food and souvenirs, handy for stocking up before the drive back to Bangkok. Sections open at different times, so check before stopping.
Dan Kwian pottery village
Home of Khorat's red-brown pottery on the Khorat–Chok Chai road, south of the city and off the Mittraphap route. If you want to shop for homeware before leaving, tell us when booking so the timing and fare can be quoted.
Phimai Historical Park
A Khmer sanctuary in Phimai district about 60 km north-east of the city — the opposite direction to Bangkok. Visiting before the trip back adds several hours, so discuss a daily charter and check opening hours first.
Pak Chong and the vineyards
Right on the Mittraphap road on the way back to Bangkok, with cafés, vineyards and souvenir shops — an easy place to stretch your legs. Tell us when booking if you want a longer stop.
Khao Yai National Park
The park entrance is near Pak Chong. Driving up into the park on the way back adds several hours, so discuss an hourly charter; park entry fees are not included in the fare.

The whole vehicle with driver, fuel, expressway and motorway tolls, and drinking water, priced per vehicle rather than per person. Meals, admission or national park fees and any stops or waiting not agreed in advance are not included; overnight charters add ฿500 per night for driver accommodation.
Should I choose the Commuter or the Alphard?
The Commuter has 9–13 seats for big families and lots of gifts. The Alphard has 6–7 captain seats and is more comfortable for a 3–4 hour drive. If you have several suitcases, tell us so luggage space can be confirmed before booking.
Is the return trip from Bangkok to Khorat the same price?
Yes. Bangkok to Khorat is also ฿5,000 for a Commuter or ฿11,500 for an Alphard, one way per vehicle, because we have vans based at both ends and charge no empty run. At festival times, booking both legs together secures a van for each trip.
How do I book, and is there a deposit?
Send your date, time, pickup, drop-off, number of passengers and luggage via LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719. The team confirms the vehicle and total, then a 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is paid on the day. Cancel at least 3 days before travel for a full deposit refund.
Can we stop at Pak Chong or Khao Yai on the way?
Yes. Pak Chong is right on the way back, good for a café or souvenir stop. Going up into Khao Yai or visiting Dan Kwian adds time and a detour, so tell us your stops when booking and the team will quote it for you to confirm first.
