Koh Tao ferry piers
Chumphon has several piers used by different ferry companies, such as Thung Makham Noi and Pak Nam Chumphon. Check which pier your return boat uses on your ticket and tell us when booking so the driver waits at the right one.
Thung Wua Laen Beach
A long beach north of Chumphon town with resorts and seafood restaurants—a good place to spend a night after the boat before the long drive to Bangkok. We collect from your accommodation.
Prince Chumphon shrine at Hat Sai Ri
A seaside memorial to the prince revered as the father of the Thai navy, in the Pak Nam Chumphon area. A short stop to pay respects before setting off.
Chumphon market
The town market has southern Thai food, coffee and souvenirs such as small lady-finger bananas—easy to pick up before joining Phetkasem Road north.
Mu Ko Chumphon National Park
If you have a spare day before leaving, snorkelling trips to the Chumphon islands leave from local piers. Tour and park fees are paid separately; check sea conditions before booking.
Phra Nakhon Khiri (Khao Wang), Phetchaburi
A hilltop royal palace in Phetchaburi town near Phetkasem Road, late in the drive. A tram runs up the hill; stretch your legs and buy local custard sweets. Check opening hours and admission before stopping.
Pier pickup timed to your boat
Send the ferry company, pier and sailing from Koh Tao and the driver waits at the pier for your arrival. If the boat changes or runs late, message us on LINE right away so we can re-coordinate.

Same fare as the outbound
Chumphon to Bangkok costs the same as Bangkok to Chumphon because we have vehicles based in the area, so no empty van has to drive down from Bangkok.
Room for backpacks and dive gear
Koh Tao trips usually end with big backpacks and dive equipment. The Commuter has a large rear space; tell us how many pieces you have so we can confirm it fits with your group.
Straight to your door or the airport
No coach or train followed by another taxi across Bangkok: we drop you at your home, hotel, or Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang airport for the same fare.
Breaks on a long drive
This is a drive of several hours, so restroom and meal breaks along the way are part of the plan. For a specific sight such as Khao Wang in Phetchaburi, tell us when booking so the timing works.

Is the ferry included? What does the fare include?
The ferry is not included. The fare covers the whole vehicle with driver, fuel, tolls and drinking water, per vehicle. Boat tickets, meals, admission, accommodation and stops not agreed in advance are excluded.
Should I choose the Commuter or the Alphard?
The Commuter has 9–13 seats and suits larger groups with backpacks and dive gear. The Alphard has 6–7 seats and is more comfortable for a long drive but has less luggage space. Tell us your luggage so we can confirm before booking.
Is the return trip, Bangkok to Chumphon, the same price?
Yes. Bangkok to Chumphon and Chumphon to Bangkok cost the same: ฿9,000 for a Commuter and ฿19,000 for an Alphard per vehicle, because we have vehicles based at both ends. You can book both directions together.
How do I book?
Send your date, boat time, pickup, drop-off, number of passengers and luggage via LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719. The team confirms the vehicle and total, a 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is paid on the day. Cancel at least 3 days before travel for a full deposit refund.
Can we stop along the way?
Yes. Restroom and meal breaks are normal on this drive. For a specific sight such as Khao Wang in Phetchaburi, tell us when booking and the team checks the timing and confirms the terms with you first.
