Sukhothai Historical Park, central zone
The main zone with Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Sawai and Wat Traphang Ngoen. If you stay in the old city, walk it at first light before your pickup, when it is cooler and quieter. Entry is charged per zone; check opening hours first.
Wat Si Chum
In the old city's northern zone, housing the vast Phra Achana Buddha whose face is glimpsed through a narrow opening — Sukhothai's most famous image. A short stop before departure works if you tell us when booking.
Ramkhamhaeng National Museum
In the old city near the central zone, displaying artefacts excavated around Sukhothai, including a replica of the famous stone inscription. Check opening days and hours if you want to stop before leaving.
Wat Saphan Hin and the western zone
A hilltop temple reached by a stone path of about 10–15 minutes, with wide views over the old city. Better visited the evening before you travel than on departure morning.
Sangkhalok kiln site
Ancient kilns of the famous Sangkhalok ceramics, with shops selling pieces as souvenirs. Glazed ceramics break easily, so wrap them well and ask the driver to help stow them safely.
Si Satchanalai Historical Park
An ancient city about an hour's drive north of Sukhothai, the opposite direction to Bangkok. A visit on departure day adds several hours, so discuss a daily charter or see it before your travel day.

Should I choose the Commuter or the Alphard?
The Commuter has 9–13 seats for bigger groups and more luggage. The Alphard has 6–7 captain seats and is far more comfortable for a 6–7 hour drive, especially with older passengers. Tell us about luggage so space can be confirmed before booking.
Is the return trip from Bangkok to Sukhothai the same price?
Yes. Bangkok to Sukhothai is also ฿8,000 for a Commuter or ฿14,000 for an Alphard, one way per vehicle, because we have vans based at both ends and charge no empty run. If you want the van with your group for a multi-day trip, the team quotes a daily charter.
How do I book, and is there a deposit?
Send your date, time, pickup, drop-off, number of passengers and luggage via LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719. The team confirms the vehicle and total, then a 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is paid on the day. Cancel at least 3 days before travel for a full deposit refund.
Can we stop for breaks or sightseeing on the way?
Yes. On a 6–7 hour drive, normal toilet and meal breaks are part of the trip. Sightseeing stops that take time or need a detour, such as Si Satchanalai or Phitsanulok, should be requested when booking so the team can quote them for you to confirm first.
