Don Sak pier
The ferry port for boats from Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. Raja Ferry and Seatran use separate piers, so give us your ferry company and sailing at booking and the driver waits at the right one. Don Sak is about an hour from Surat Thani town.
Town piers for Koh Tao and Phangan
Some boats from Koh Tao and Koh Phangan dock at piers in the city. Check with your ferry company which pier and what arrival time, send it to us, and the driver meets you there.
Surat Thani town and San Chao market
If you spend the night in town before the drive, San Chao market is the place for an evening meal of inexpensive southern food. Leave the next morning and you reach Bangkok around early evening.
Khao Sok National Park and Cheow Lan reservoir
If your trip ends in Khao Sok, the van can collect you at your lodging or the reservoir pier. It is about two hours beyond Surat Thani town, so the team quotes that pickup for you to confirm before booking.
Suan Mokkh
The forest monastery founded by Buddhadasa Bhikkhu, beside Highway 41 in Chaiya on the way north to Bangkok. A quiet, shaded place to stretch your legs; dress modestly and keep your voice down.

What does the fare include — is the Samui ferry included?
The ferry is not included. The fare covers the whole vehicle with driver, fuel, tolls and drinking water. Ferry tickets, meals, admission fees and the driver's accommodation on an overnight split are not included.
Should we choose the Commuter or the Alphard, or fly instead?
For two to four people with light bags, flying back to Bangkok is much faster. For a bigger group with lots of luggage or dive gear, the 9–13 seat Commuter makes more sense, while the 6–7 seat Alphard suits a smaller group wanting extra comfort on a long drive.
Is the return trip the same price as Bangkok to Surat Thani?
Yes. Bangkok to Surat Thani and Surat Thani to Bangkok cost the same: Commuter ฿15,000 and Alphard ฿28,500 per vehicle, one way, because our vans are based in the area and none has to drive down empty. You can book both directions together and the team confirms each date and time.
How do I book, and how much is the deposit?
Message LINE @kingtocar or call 084-709-3719 with your date, time, pickup, drop-off, passengers and luggage. The team confirms the vehicle and total, a 50% deposit secures the booking and the balance is paid on the travel day. Cancel at least 3 days before travel and the deposit is refunded in full.
Can we make stops on the way or break the journey overnight?
Short stops on the route are fine — Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya, or a meal in Chumphon or Hua Hin, for example; mention them at booking. For a night on the way, driver accommodation is ฿500 per night and the team confirms the total before you book.
